How to avoid or at least minimize red face or blushing after drinking alcoholic beverage?

I need to socialize, and treat clients for some drink. But blushing really makes me feel discomfort. I dont intend to be a heavy drinker, but a glass or bottle would do.How to avoid or at least minimize red face or blushing after drinking alcoholic beverage?
I know the blushing could be due to anything, but in MY case (when drinking certain drinks) the blushing is due to a skin condition called rosacea. Alcohol can exaserbate the condition. Does your face feel hot and/or prickly sensation when drinking? If so you could have rosacea for which there is no cure, but it can be treated. Do a search and see if you have any of the symptoms then go see a dermatologist if need be.How to avoid or at least minimize red face or blushing after drinking alcoholic beverage?
If you feel you need to drink alcohol at social functions or to relax, here are some recommendations to minimize the flushing effect:

Avoid beer as it is higher in carbohydrates, however, if you like beer; drink your domestic beer from your own country as it is usually sold within six weeks of production. Foreign beers imported into your country usually have preservatives which make for more redness. Domestic 'light beer' usually does not have as many carbohydrates and less alcohol content making it the beer of choice.

Wine is heavy in carbohydrates and even higher in preservatives/sulfides and alcohol causing more flushing with the red wines usually being the worst for most of us. If you prefer wine, a white wine would be best.

It is better to drink small amounts of gin, vodka or whiskey, diluted with water instead of sugared soft drinks or mixes which also can stimulate the cardiovascular system. A good choice would be a Long Island Ice Tea substituting the mix with water and diluting it. Small amounts of gin are frequently less stimulating than vodka or whiskey. You should ';chase'; any alcoholic drink with water.

Although these recommendations can help to minimize flushing, still the best thought is ';not to drink any type of alcohol

to avoid redding of the face, try drinking lots of water after one glass of alcoholic drink.
sleep a little while.
Drink low alcohol drinks
The same thing happens to me, and its really embarassing I get red and blotchy everywhere except around my nose mouth and eyes, I look like a racoon, I know it wouldn't be convenient especially around clients, but I have a face mask that I bought at shoppers drug mart, that you can put in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes and when you put it on your face it minimalizes your cappilaries and cools you down a lot ( i also feel hot)
drink a glass of water with ice
Don't drink alcoholic beverages. It's that simple.
sleep for a hour or so and if you want to get rid of some of the drink in your system take a piece of bread and eat it and it will soke up the drink in the piece of bread
hahahaha asian red face, hahaha!
