i find that the best primers are the ones that are dimethicone-based, like smashbox's photofinish or bareescentuals prime time. they really help in evening out the surface of your skin. they're pretty expensive, though, so a good alternative i've discovered is monistat's anti-chafing gel.. it's got pretty much the exact same texture/ingredients/finish as the former two and costs probably 7 bucks at a drugstore.





as for blush (assuming you mean powder rather then gel/cream), i always resort to nars because they're so finely-milled that they allow for easy layering. other good brands for blush would be cargo, clinique, or dior.
